The hub of the stylet is colour-coded according to the diameter of the needle. The hub of the needle is transparent to visualise CSF reflux and its ergonomic design ensures easy handling. The stylet is designed to allow rapid reflux of CSF. The lug on the hub of the stylet indicates the position of the distal eye. The lug also helps to easily reposition the stylet in the needle, if dural puncture fails.
