About Autism and Food Eating for many Autistic children and adults can be a tricky business. Katie will take you through the ways sensory processing shapes our experience of food, looks at the emotional side of eating, and how this links to sensory processing. Katie then discusses the motor action of eating and ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). As a parent you may have concerns around your child’s eating habits, so Katie will break down the various issues around food and eating and answers common questions. Whether you’re a parent, professional or Autistic person looking for tips in this area, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from Katie. This webinar is hosted by Evaleen Whelton, founder of AUsome Training, author, parent and long time fussy eater. Evaleen will share her own personal experiences with eating. “Really enjoyed this course. The content was fascinating; jam-packed and delivered in a really engaging way. I learned so much!
